53rd Annual International Conference SVOČ

On 10 May 2012, Technical University, Faculty of Wood Sciences and Technology in Zvolen held already the 53rd Annual International Conference (Competition) for the best students’ research and professional work SVOČ, which was also represented by FaME. The competition was attended by students whose work was evaluated as the best in terms of FaME SVOČ 2012.
Our students participated in two sections, namely Tomáš Kudela in the section Economics and Management of Enterprises, and Milan Piškula in the section Marketing, Trade and Innovation Management. It is necessary to emphasize that both sections were attended by strong competitors from various Slovak and Czech universities. Just to name a few: Matej Bel University Banská Bystrica, Technical University in Zvolen, University St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, University of Žilina, University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovak University of Technology in Trnava and others. This year’s participation can be considered as more than strong.
Thus we can congratulate the two students because TOMÁŠ KUDELA won his category and MILAN PIŠKULA won beautiful second place! It should also be pointed out that this year’s contributions were, as in FaME SVOČ 2012, at a very high level and so we can be pleased even more that our students took first and second place, receiving in addition to the recognition and a diploma a nice financial reward.

Once again, congratulations and we hope that our students will achieve these successes in the following years as well.
